Hello! I’m Jason Crandall. I am an Everyday Pastor that leads an Everyday Church (re: small church) in Houston, TX. Church planting and thinking about leadership are passions of mine. I like considering ways to be more productive and efficient. Although, sometimes this near obsession causes me to be exactly the opposite of productive or efficient.
I’m the oldest of 2 and I grew up in the state that’s shaped like a mitten (That’s Michigan for the geographically challenged). However, now I happily make my home in Houston, Texas with my beautiful wife Allie and our three crazy boys. I will always be a fierce Detroit sports fan regardless of where I live, but I’ve adopted the Astros, Rockets, and Texans as well.
After over a decade of serving at conventional churches I started a new church in 2014 with some amazing people. We love the gospel and work hard to make disciples and multiply churches. We’ve been able to send 3 churches since we started serving our community and are training our fourth planter now.
I’m the author of Proliferate, A Church Planting Strategy for Everyday Churches. My hope is that all churches, regardless of size, will take up the call to participate in planting churches. I hold a doctorate in leadership from Southern Seminary in Louisville, KY. Please enjoy my blog, jasoncrandall.org, here I write about transformational leadership topics. I focus on the themes of productivity, self and team leadership, church planting, and multiplication.
